Procedure:

Supply name of the company whose assets would be charged
Provide date of creation of the charge
Nature of the charge
Provide amount secured by the charge or maximum sum deemed to be secured thereby
Provide short particulars of the property charged
Provide information on the Grantor of the Charge, in addition to the names, addresses and the description of persons entitled to the charge
Incase of a floating charge, provide the nature of any restriction on the power of the firm to grant further charges ranking in priority or pari passu with the charge created
File charge document creating the charge on the assets of the company
File charge within 28 days after its creation
Seek leave to file charge out of time from the High Court
Form number 9 filed in duplicate together with the stamped Agreement spelling out terms of the charge
Pay requisite fees for filling of the charge
Print Lien Certificates.
