Procedures:
- Applicant may purchase the prescribed Forms Nos 1and 2 from the in-house bank at GH 1 cedi. The application/request should be accompanied with the following specifications:
- The applicant pays a prescribed fee of GH 5 cedi and GH 10 cedi for companies.
- The applicant on receipt is accorded the date of the receipt and stamped and marked with the office stamp.
- The applicant is notified of the receipt of the application by the office and the allotted number by the office.
- Office conducts formal examination
- Registrar issues Patent Certificate on approval.
- Time Frame: Two – three years.

- Applicant may pick the prescribed Form No 2 from the in house bank for free.
- The application / request should be accompanied with four identical Representations of the Designs.
- Application fee - GH 15.00 cedi.
- Registration Certificate - GH 15.00 cedi.
- 1st Renewal after 5 years - GH 30.00 cedi.
- Last Renewal after 5 years
- Applicant can collect Certificate of registration within 3-5 months.

- Applicant may pick Form {T.M.NO.2} from the in-house bank for free.
- The application or request should be accompanied with five representations of the mark or symbol or sign.
- Applicant pays a prescribed fee of US$150 or it cedi equivalent
- Application is examined and approved
- Mark is published in the industrial and commercial bulletin.
- Registrar issues Certificate to the applicant at a fee of US$100
- Time Frame: 3 months – 1 year
- 1st Renewal in 7 years is US$340 or it cedi equivalent.
- 2nd Renewal in 7 years is US$340 or its GH cedi equivalent.
